In the video below I talk about how I got started as a publishing press and my role as a contributing author and publisher of A Different Story, How Six Authors became Better Writers. This was the first book published by IW Press Ltd and all author royalties go to Storybook Dads, a charity that helps children stay connected with their parents in prison.

About You
You’ve written a book. Perhaps it’s your story, complete with life lessons, or a self-help book. Maybe it’s spiritual in nature, or it might even be a novel or a book of poetry with an important message. You want to publish it but:
· You don’t know where to start.
· Whilst the first draft is written, you know that it needs more work, but you can’t see the wood for the trees and you’re not sure where to start with revisions.
· You’ve considered self-publishing and realised there’s more to it than you thought, and it feels like it’s too much.
· You’re not very tech savvy.
· You don’t have time to do the work needed to publish a book, or you have other things that you would prefer to spend your time on.

About Maria
I am a writer and published author. I have gone down the traditional route, and self-published. I enjoy the thrill of writing and publishing and understand that it’s not a ride that everyone would enjoy. I’m a coach so I know how to motivate you and help you along the way.
I will take the time to understand what you want for and from your book, and tailor my service to suit your needs.
I called my publishing company a Press, an old-fashioned word, because I wanted to emulate the traditional values of kindness, collaboration and personal service.
My aim is to help you to publish your book with grace and ease.
I guarantee that your book will be as professional as any book published by one of the big five publishing houses.
